History

Giannetti Contracting Corporation (Giannetti) is a 3rd generation family owned underground utility construction company established in Detroit, Michigan. Giannetti began working in Florida in 1984 predominantly in Miami-Dade County and Broward County. Over the last 32 years, Giannetti has been recognized as a leading contractor in both the public and private sectors specializing in neighborhood improvements and urban utility installation projects all over South Florida. Giannetti has worked with numerous government agencies in the State of Florida such as the Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority, Florida Department of Transportation and various cities and counties ranging from Monroe County to Indian River County.

Over the last five years alone, Giannetti has completed more than $ 160 Million of municipal work. We have constructed over 1,079,172 linear feet (204.9 miles) of pipe for multiple government agencies including Broward County, Palm Beach County, City of Hollywood, City of Fort Lauderdale, City of Boca Raton, City of North Lauderdale, Central Broward Water Control District, Town of Davie, Loxahatchee River Environmental Control District, and Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority in the past five years. During that time, Giannetti has installed over 455,000 linear feet of water main, 50,000 linear feet of reclaim water, 320,000 linear feet of gravity sewer, 205,000 linear feet of force main, 8,700 linear feet of vacuum sewer, and 88,000 linear feet of drainage.

Typical private-sector projects include residential developments, hospitals, restaurants, office complexes, shopping centers, and industrial buildings. In the public sector, we construct highways, waste-water treatment facilities, and storm water diversion infrastructures.

At times Giannetti enters into co-bid partnership with other contractors as needed depending on the project scope.
